During the 48th session of Optical Fiber Communication Conferences (OFC), Accelink was invited to present a special report on optical fiber communications, titled 33.6 Tb/s (42 × 800 Gb/s) Unrepeatered Transmission over 302 km Using ROPA System, and released its latest research results in the field of large-capacity and long-span optical fiber communication, which has set a new record in the field of large-capacity and ultra-long single-span optical fiber communication!
Based on the remarkable performance of Raman and remote pump amplification technology, Accelink achieved a new record for the farthest single-core transmission under the same transmission capacity (33.6 Tb/s) and spectrum utilization (7.11 b/s/Hz), attaining 42×800 Gb/s single-span transmission of 302 km.
It is said that the technology used in this innovation has been deployed and applied in the high-difficulty optical network of several long-span patented technologies of Accelink, providing a practical and efficient solution for the ultra-long span, large-capacity interconnection across the sea and desert in data centers and other optical fiber communication scenarios. This result demonstrates Accelink’s excellent leading technology strength in large-capacity and ultra-long-distance transmission.
In terms of creativity and technology, the sky is the limit. Accelink will increase its scientific research, increase its efforts in scientific and technological innovation, and strive to create more and more advanced innovative ideas, results, and products.
